For corporates
Engage in long-term, meaningful relationships and see the difference you are making firsthand.
Corporate support is invaluable to us and creates a positive impact on the lives of families facing difficult circumstances. There are a number of ways to get involved - through fundraising, holding events, or participating in volunteer opportunities like working bees, companies can make a meaningful difference in the community.
Not only does this support our mission, it also strengthens your corporate social responsibility, fosters team bonding, and can enhance your reputation as a community-focused business.
Working Bee Information
A corporate volunteering day at Bear Cottage provides invaluable support by enabling us to complete practical tasks that would otherwise be beyond our capacity, such as gardening, maintenance or assistance with fundraising activities. These contributions directly enhance the environment for the children and families we support.
For volunteers, the experience is deeply rewarding, offering an in-depth understanding of the vital care and services Bear Cottage provides. It fosters a meaningful connection, inspiring volunteers to see how their efforts contribute to creating a comforting and supportive space and how they can continue to be part of this important work.
Corporate volunteering days are held once a month with up to 10 volunteers at a time.
Spaces for these events fill up quickly, so please be flexible with your dates.
We prioritise organisations that provide financial support to Bear Cottage.
Activities may include:
- painting
- sanding outdoor furniture
- decorating the house for Easter and Christmas
- activities depending on the needs of the house at any given time.
For more information about corporate volunteering like insurance or what to bring on the day, see our Corporate working bee information.
