Caring for a child with a life-limiting condition changes a family's life forever.

Exhausting, rewarding, sometimes positive, often painful - Bear Cottage is a place where respite is possible.

Bear Cottage is the only children’s hospice in NSW - a very special place that's dedicated to caring for children with life-limiting conditions.

Our vision is to be as far removed from a hospital environment as possible. 

We are staffed by Registered Nurses, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and supported by local GP's and the expertise of a Paediatric Palliative Care Physician.

Even though we’re based in NSW, we accept referrals from anywhere in Australia.
