We’re proud to be an official charity partner of STRYDE4 Day on Tuesday 19 May - and we’re calling all businesses, community groups and individuals to be part of it and raise funds for Bear Cottage.

It’s more than just an 8km walk. It’s a vibrant, feel-good event that brings people together to move with purpose and make a meaningful impact. As you make your way along the course, you’ll experience a series of exciting activation zones - featuring interactive challenges, fun activities and uplifting moments designed to keep your energy high and your team spirit even higher. Examples include trivia, mini-sports games, silent disco, obstacle challenges or wellness activities like ice baths!

Whether you choose to take part on your own or sign up with friends, family or colleagues, every step you take helps raise vital funds for Bear Cottage. Your support will help provide essential care, comfort and support services for children with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families during incredibly challenging times.

And 100% of funds you raise (excluding the registration fee) will go directly to supporting the children and families that stay at Bear Cottage through creative therapies, celebrations, shared experiences and respite stays that give families time to recharge.

On the day, you’ll be surrounded by a community of passionate supporters, all walking for a cause. Expect a lively atmosphere, moments of reflection and plenty of opportunities to celebrate the difference you’re making.

The experience doesn’t have to end at the finish line. After completing the walk, fundraisers can come together at the final venue (Harbord Diggers) for an end-of-event celebration - complete with entertainment, refreshments and a chance to connect, unwind and recognise the collective impact of the day.
