Bear Cottage volunteers invited to Premier's reception
As 2023 NSW Volunteer Team of the year winners, Bear Cottage volunteers were invited to attend the Premier’s Volunteer Reception on 20 May at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
The team joined previous award winners from all over the state, all of whom make a significant impact to the various communities they dedicate their time to.
Thank you to volunteers Adrienne, Roz and Danni for representing Bear Cottage and making us proud!
In celebration of 2024 National Volunteer Week , staff at Bear Cottage took some time to celebrate and thank our wonderful team of Bear Cottage volunteers.
This year’s theme was “Something for Everyone” and could not describe our volunteers more accurately, with a huge variety of skills and from all walks of life.
Our volunteers breathe colour and life into our Cottage and we are lucky to have them all!
Thank you to the amazing Northern Beat band for volunteering their time to help make the night a real celebration and to Barbette’s Feast for the delicious quilt-themed cake.
The night was a great opportunity for our volunteers to connect with each other and share stories.
We acknowledged our volunteers who have reached important tenure milestones.
