Staff at Bear Cottage are familiar with and sensitive to the shock and deep sadness that you experience when your child passes away. 

This handbook has been developed by our team to guide you and your family through this difficult time. 

Some of this information may be helpful now and other parts may be helpful later. Families usually have many questions about what to do next, how to best tell other children and family members, what support is available and how they can best cope with their grief and support their family. 

This handbook is provided in addition to the personal assistance and support that is available to you by the Bear Cottage team. We encourage you to discuss any issues or concerns you may have with us.
